Got me there, that is a contradiction. It's wikipedia after all. Lets get back to the crux of the issue. You said twin-screws would be cheaper, and they are not. You said twin-screws are more powerful and they are not. They make more torque at lower rpms, then halfway through the upper range (where you need the power when racing) centrifugal superchargers generally make more power.
